Isis Y. Oyuela, founder of Xcel CFO and Accounting Solutions, has over 20 years of accounting experience across a diverse range of business industries, including tech, investment, wealth management, real estate, crypto, and influencer marketing. She has served in several accounting management roles, including controller, finance manager, and cash manager. She has fulfilled many Chief Financial Officer (CFO) responsibilities, including forecasting, service and product costing, margin analysis, and reporting to leadership.

Clients describe Isis as very approachable, responsive, organized, and reliable. Additionally, she enjoys learning languages and software programs. She is bilingual in Spanish and English, her core languages, and is currently learning Italian. She is certified with Xero’s accounting and bookkeeping software and is also proficient in QuickBooks. She can work remotely and is adaptable to work with any cloud-based accounting software.

When asked why she chose accounting as a career, Isis shares that she first began performing accounting duties when she was in the 2nd grade. She was class treasurer and was trusted by classmates and staff to “hold money, make more, and give it back.”

As a lifelong learner, she recently earned her MBA at UC Berkeley. She continues to advance her knowledge and skills through continued education, personal reading, and attendance at finance and accounting-related conferences and webinars.
